The Akron Chapter formed the Matinee Singers mini-chorus to enable us to handle the many performance requests we receive for daytime events.
The Matinee Singers consist mostly of retired members or those who have flexible schedules. The group rehearses from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on the second and fourth Thursdays of each month, at the Tallmadge First Congregational Church. The church is located at 85 Heritage Drive, east of Route 91, north of Tallmadge Circle.
